Small, careful apps
for your Mac.

MacMuse makes native Mac apps that each do one job well. You pay once, there’s no account to make, and the apps don’t track you.

  • Snug
  • Beckon

Our apps

Two apps so far, each with its own site and the full details.

Window management

Snug

Every window, fitted snug.

An auto-tiling window manager. Every window you open finds its place, plug in a display and your desk comes back, and you rearrange it all with the mouse.

  • Places a new window in 78 ms (measured)
  • Layouts for laptops and ultrawides
  • No screenshots, no analytics

AI and productivity

Beckon

Summon any AI agent with what’s on your screen.

Press ⌥⇧Space in any app and a bar rises with what you’re looking at already attached. Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and more answer right in the bar.

  • About 4 MB, native Swift
  • Every agent’s usage in the menu bar
  • No account, no analytics in the app

How we build

The same four rules for every app.

Native, and small
Written in Swift for macOS. Snug’s download is 2.5 MB and Beckon’s about 4 MB. No Electron, no web view pretending to be an app.
Pay once
One price, no subscription. Snug is $14.99 and Beckon is $39, each with every 1.x update included.
No account
Download, open, use. A license key is all either app needs; there’s nothing to sign up for.
Private by default
No analytics in the apps. Snug never takes screenshots; Beckon reads your screen only when you press its shortcut.
